MEIRYA Craft products are alcoholic beverages. In the United States you must be 21 or older to purchase or drink them. We age-gate this site, we ask our retail and distribution partners to check identification, and we do not market to anyone underage.

The government warning

This warning appears on every container we sell, and it is worth reading here too:

GOVERNMENT WARNING: (1) According to the Surgeon General, women should not drink alcoholic beverages during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects. (2) Consumption of alcoholic beverages impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery, and may cause health problems.

Please don’t drive

Never drive after drinking. Arrange a ride, take transit, or stay put. If you are hosting, make sure everyone at your table has a way home.

A few honest notes

• Our craft range is brewed with real tea, which means it contains some caffeine. Caffeine does not offset alcohol and does not make anyone safer to drive — it can just make it harder to notice how impaired you are.
• Tea being an ancient and thoughtful ingredient does not make an alcoholic drink a health product. We make no health claims about any MEIRYA product, and nothing on this site should be read as one.
• Some people should not drink at all: anyone pregnant or trying to conceive, anyone on medication that interacts with alcohol, and anyone in recovery. That is a decision for you and your doctor, and we respect it.
