Agreement

These terms are between you and Meirya Management INC (“MEIRYA,” “we,” “us”) and govern your use of meirya.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

You must be 21 or older

This site advertises alcoholic beverages. You may use it only if you are of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction — 21 or older in the United States. Do not use this site, and do not share its content, in any way that puts it in front of anyone underage.

Nothing is sold here

This is an informational site. It displays no prices, has no cart and takes no orders. Product links hand you to our separate store at shop.meirya.com, which is operated on Shopify under its own terms of sale, shipping policy and returns policy. Any purchase is governed by those terms, not these. Product availability, formats and pricing shown or implied here may differ from what that store actually offers, and some products described on this site are not yet available for sale.

Our intellectual property

The MEIRYA name, the leaf seal, the wordmark, all product and lifestyle photography, all copy, and the design and code of this site are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view and share links to the site. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, or use our photography, marks or copy for commercial purposes — including training machine-learning models — without our written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for anything unlawful, or to advertise alcohol to minors.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-download the site, including the stockist locations, except as a search engine indexing public pages.
• Submit false information through our forms, or use them to send unsolicited commercial messages.
• Interfere with the site’s operation, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or attempt to gain unauthorized access.
• Impersonate MEIRYA or misrepresent your affiliation with us.

Store locator information

The locator shows retailers and venues that we understand to carry our products. Stock changes constantly and we do not control these businesses. We cannot promise any location has a given product in stock at any moment, and listing a business is not an endorsement of it. Call ahead.

Third-party links

We link to outside sites — our store, our social profiles, our distributors and retailers, and the mapping providers behind the locator. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, their products or their privacy practices.

Disclaimers

The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that the information on it is complete, current or accurate.

Nothing on this site is health, dietary or medical advice, and nothing here claims that any product prevents, treats or cures any condition.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither MEIRYA nor its officers, employees, agents or suppliers will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of this site — whether the claim is in contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise, and even if we were advised such damages were possible. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to this site will not exceed fifty U.S. dollars (US$50.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of the above may not apply to you. In that case our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold MEIRYA harmless from any claim, demand, loss or expense — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your use of the site or your breach of these terms.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [New York], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or this site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [Queens, New York], and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Note for counsel: if an arbitration clause and class-action waiver are wanted, they belong here, and they need the conspicuousness and opt-out mechanics that make them enforceable.

Changes and severability

We may change these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
